I am currently producing wood fired pottery at my studio near Brandtsville, PA using a variety of local and regional clays. Trained in the folk potteries of North Carolina, my shapes are decidedly functional and efficiently turned. My greatest joy is knowing folks enjoy using my pots.

I choose wood-firing for a number of reasons: foremost for it's aesthetic qualities, as I feel that it allows the clays to show their true colors, for the random qualities the melted wood-ash imparts on the pots, as well as for the historical and cultural relevance it provides.
